Yes been running it for almost a week now, bloody great, it's like a new phone.

Battery life is a lot better on standby as well

I was presently surprised on Tuesday when I got a notification saying that I could upgrade to Andriod 6.0. I had thought that Sony had no intentions upgrading the Z3 compact.

Impressed with Marshmallow so far, everything seems quicker when you open apps etc

If you think that is quick you should flash the marshmallow concept. Almost pure stock with some sony apps, Battery life is pretty much at kit kat levels aswell.

It should actually be 6.0.1

I got it for the Z2 last weekend and it was only announced the week before!

Better than any samsung phone. The Mrs' S4 only just got 5.01 last month!

Damn - how come I can't get it :\

I see (according to articles on the www) D5803 (which mine is) had 6.0.1 released earlier in the month (ie before the D5833)... :(

Depends where the phone is from.  If you can find that out I can look it up for you

Otherwise download xperifirm

Hmm no idea where it's from - asides from bought from a store (it is a parallel import jobbie I know that much). Might take a look at manually doing it...or is it simply a matter of just waiting and it will eventually get here?

Looking at the 5803 firmware release not many have MM yet. most of them are still reading 5.1

If it's out there, manually updating is very easy anyway.

My one stopped working from the top, so you couldn't use the status bar at all. My friends one is worse. Both getting repaired under warranty at the moment. Already been back once with the camera lens losing its anti reflective coating, and they'll be replacing that too. Such a shame, as the Z1 compact I use in the meantime is still going strong.
