Hey Guys,

Noels had an allocation of 30 silver units come in today to cover pre-orders. All pre orders will be fulfilled in the order they were received.

The black model is a couple of weeks away now. Apparently.

I dont know what the warehouse stock allocation is because i dont work for them. I hope they are supplying stock for pre-order customers.

This is all the information i know

-Steve.

Would the first 30 people be contacted by NL already?

Sounds like NL are just picking names out of a hat!

NL are not picking names out of a hat. Both me and a workmate preordered over a month ago. We were both called on Wednesday evening by NL. We both had ordered black. They asked us both if we wanted to switch to silver and pickup today. I chose to keep my preorder for black and my workmate chose to swap to silver as he really wanted silver anyways. Sure enough, he was contacted today and collected his this afternoon.
So I think that NL chose the first 30 preorders and gave them all the stock they got.
I am hoping my black one arrives sometime in next few weeks.
Until then I will have to live with my choice to hold out for black.

So, I made my preorder on October 4. Haven't got any call. So you must've ordered before the 4th, correct?

Ok, I preordered mine on October the 10th. Were you available for a call On Wednesday night? Did you preorder black or silver?

Ordered the silver. So i guess not in order after all then. Well that's a bummer. Always have my phone on me. Definitely didn't get a call.

I think that if you preordered the silver before me and my workmate did that you should have received one of the 30 that NL received. But I have no idea how they worked out who got one of the first 30.

I guess so. Doesn't matter now. Just ordered one of the pbtech units. They said it'll be on a courier Monday. Canceling my noels order.

Good idea. PB Tech seem to still have stock of silver model. I am holding out for black. Even if I have to wait another 2 weeks or more.

I ordered a Silver one on the 6th October, haven't heard anything from them. I'll be pretty annoyed if I've missed the first boat.

I can confirm this is sitting on my wrist.

I absolutely love it. I only picked it up this morning but it was everything I hoped for. The only thing that I will change is that I am going to order the Pebble metal band for it because the current band is not as nice.

Grabbed one yesterday from PB Tech. After starting to go through all the motions to order one from Google Play or Motorola a while ago, it sure was refreshing to just walk into a store and buy it. Pleased so far, but battery life will be key in next 24-48 hours. If it's looking good enough, then I might grab a Z3 Tablet Compact to use as my primary device with it and eschew a phone altogether.
