Hi
I have a stock Nexus 7 (2013) and received the updated this evening. I clicked the download and install and when it restarted it was still 4.4.4
After a bit of googling I find that the app Adblock Plus, which I had running from startup, must first be un-installed otherwise the upgrade will fail, which it has. When I tap the check for upgrade button it says in up to date..
I've tried the obvious and basic tricks but nothing so far has got the tablet back to the state where it will receive the OTA update. A factory reset seems a bit drastic at this stage, but will give that a go short of any suggestions.

Has anyone heard of this before?

Cheers

There is now an unoffical, Quite buggy version of CyanogenMod 12 (lollipop) on XDA. It has quite a few things broken like the cellular radio and sound doesnt work. But I had a play with it and its really nice!

Don't think so! We should see an official Google Edition rom within the next couple of weeks hopefully! And cm12 nightlies before christmas, And official Samsung Touchwiz rom early next year (leaked builds of it show that the looks have been updated, it looks alot like the s5 now)

So far nothing for my N7 (Gen 1 and Gen 2) or Nexus 5.

But a couple of folks at work have got theirs. One a UK purchased N5 and the second a 2D N4 which is now on Vodafone.

Fortunately the new Gmail app works fine with Exchange (2007) though we had to hunt around to find it for the user.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Awesome! My Shield Tablet got it this morning, with a few other goodies like expanded Grid service, major Dabbler overhaul, USB OTG Y-cable support for simultaneous charging, few other odds n ends.... and soon Half Life 2, Episode 1 coming when the LTE tab version gets it's update any day now.

Not quite a rollout as I had to go and find it and install. But my ancient TF101 ASUS Transformer is now rocking Lollipop courtesy of Katkiss 5.0 by Timduru. Early days yet and it is still a work in progress, bit all seems to be running properly so far.

I like Android and my return to it has been enjoyable but their update procedure leaves a lot to be desired.

My Nexus 10 received OTA yesterday - no problems. Haven't really explored much yet, but obvious changes are so-so.

My Wife's Nexus 7 (2012 model) got updated last nite.  Haven't had much time to play with it but it did seem a bit slower that when it was ICS  4.4.4

I don't expect my S5 and Tabs to be updated until sometime in 2015. I have 2013 Nexus7 that would like to see Lollipop in action.
