I actually am not disappointed in any of the specs. Some people may be a bit weary of the 1080p screen. I feel that 1080p screens are perfectly fine as long as the panel itself is quite nice and bright. A 1080p screen would also have better battery life - I would take that over a higher res screen any day.

Yes agreed - I don't personally believe that there is any use case that justifies having a 4K screen in a 5.5inch device!!!

It seems that they were aiming for a price point and had to make cuts to get to it.

I don't use NFC to much but it's great to pair/connect devices.
No LTE is kind of a big thing however, sure 3g will be fine but you can tell the difference when you are doing things on mobile data.
I also like micro USB charging, I can go almost anywhere and someone around has a charger.  Changing to C with only 1 or 2 cables around could be a bit hard.

For now I think i will keep with my sony z3 compact as 5.1.1 is rolling out at the moment, will see what the nexus range is in november.

What the hell lol, the one has NFC and LTE.

Not even an upgrade for anyone wanting to stick with the brand

I've never wanted a phone this badly. I feel like an Apple Fanboy right now and I've never had this feeling before.

It is scaring me. Now I see why people go mad at those Apple events.

Honestly, help me, I need it and you need one too, take this URL and bump me up in the queue and I'll be forever grateful.

Note 5 is like 2x the price (or maybe 3x) so remember that :)

I was looking at getting the next note but for bang-for-buck and general sexyness the Oneplus 2 has me.

I use a OnePlus One and love it. I was all ready for this device until I saw the 4G frequencies. It would be a backward step with no 4G. A real downer really. I wonder if it is something to do with the dual Sim....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
