wasabi2k: Moto G has a really good history of getting android updates quickly - gen 1 moto g for 5 pretty quickly.

What is the latest android release for an S4/Prime?

My wife has the first gen Moto G and loves it especially the snapper case..  I wouldn't mind the new 2015 model but only the 16Gig model   but I suspect it will be over $400 here..

TBH, I'm not very happy with the Moto G's (1st gen, LTE) performance with the latest Lollipop update. It can be pretty slow.

Sounds like my Nexus 7  2012 model after it went to Lollipop.  Runs like a snail..
