toxicbubble: Well we could have ordered the Frost 6p from Google last night when it became available. I don't know how much stock Google will have, but it's possible the later order will delay fulfillment and the phone will now take longer than otherwise so it is a valid complaint IMO. 

It also seems like the whole 2degrees site was briefly down? Related? 


A valid complaint would be about something real, not imagined. The Google shipping date hasn't changed, it will when stock is exhausted.

Colour change is not a problem for me. I usually fit a cover anyway.
Can't wait for the web page to be fixed though so I can place my order.

Just got my email regarding my pay monthy option. Opted for the 64gb graphite so I am happy. Will ring them up in the morning to confirm :)

If you could have updated us earlier, I could have placed the order with Google Store as soon as they opened the order page for NZ. Secondly, the order page does not work. The 'Add to cart' button does not do anything. It returns a blank page. Cannot even order graphite version.


Google is still shipping the Frost on the same date so if you want it, you can get it from them for full price. As for a waste of time, all you did was send a PM...

If they could have informed us earlier, i would have placed the order with Google store. And now I have to worry about low stock and being back in the queue for delivery with Google store.

Oh come on, it's not like you were sitting idly, unable to do anything until you could place and order. You wasted all the time it took to send a PM and nothing more. Yes, it's disappointing, I also wanted Frost, but let's not get too dramatic about it.

Sure circumstances change and I'm sure they had every intention to fill the Frost orders as soon as possible. But these people didn't wake up from a dream where they'd imagined a non-existent offer. 2Degrees put the promotion out directly to us and delayed people from pursuing other options sooner (Google Store) so it's understandable for people to be disappointed.

No one is dramatic here. I am disappointed with their last moment changes and i believe its fair to show my disappointment here.

I'll try to explain myself once again.... I had the option to order the device from google store two days back. But I didn't because 2degrees said they can provide the same handset for a cheaper price. Later, when the d-day arrives 2degrees says they do not have the handset.

I am not sure why you are stuck at the point of literal action of 'sending a PM'. If you think my disappointment is a drama or unjustifiable then lets agree to disagree.

It's available online, it's still available to buy and still shipping on the same date as before. Nothing changed in your lives for that.

On the other hand I spent the last week working after hours to compile the list, asking for more information from those who did not sent the correct stuff, etc.

So yes, some are disappointed... Some will be happy and get a handset with a good discount.

There's that.

I'm a little confused... Do we need the discount code as well if we are going to go on a plan? Or will they have our email addresses already as proof that we are geekzone members?
I received the email to make the call to the sales team, but nothing more.
