It's now up on the Google Store but is currently out of stock. Did anyone see the prices before it went out of stock?

Don't even think about it until Google addresses the Wi-Fi issue:

You'll hear people saying "mine doesn't have this issue", but it seems pretty certain now that it's a universal issue affecting all units, and that the people who "don't have it" are just not noticing it because they have particularly strong Wi-Fi or they only use the device in close proximity to their AP. Conspicuously absent are any user reports like "my first unit had this issue but my replacement doesn't".

The "developer" discount is valid until the 15th of July, so don't make any rushed decisions on account of that. Until there's a confirmed working fix, I would strongly recommend against purchasing this tablet.

In addition, it doesn't have LTE, GPS or NFC, so in terms of features it's actually a downgrade compared to all of Google's earlier tablets.

Unfortunately there's no Android tablet that I'd recommend right now - if you're willing to spend that much on a Pixel, might as well buy a Surface Pro.

Here's hoping that Google announces a decent Nexus tablet at I/O, so we can finally put behind the failures of the Nexus 9 and Pixel C behind us.
