Apart from very detailed Manuals (usually non-existent anyway), is there any way to identify if a phone or tablet has a MHL and/or Slimport compatible USB port?

Yes, I'm aware of the various lists, but was wondering if there was a physical means, viz. either a mark or symbol, or if specification software can detect MHL or Slimport?

That's a good point. No idea. I would expect one of the hardware/config information utilities to report it. I have never used one on android.

I had it until I flashed a different ROM. It's device and software dependant.
