Do you guys know if the pre-orders are going to be shipped before the 11th here in nz?

In the US it looks like its being sent out on the 8th for those who pre-ordered.

I pre ordered with 2degrees and tweeted them earlier tonight asking when they are shipping out. No reply yet, but I'll advise as soon as I know.

Other than that, what micro SD cards are people going for and what capacity? I feel like I'll only need 64gb, but everyone on reddit seems to be going 128. Keep in mind I am coming from a 32gb iPhone which is the biggest phone I have had, so having expandable storage will be a whole new ball game. What are you guys getting?

Quit 2 degrees and jumped ship; back to my roots :P
Vodafone are giving an extra 2gb per month for 12 months along with the 64GB sd card.

Unsure what brand or speed it is, hope its good enough or it will make the phone slow down to a crawl.

The largest phones I have ever owned are 16gb and even with expandable storage has only ever been 16gb.
I am now going to be able to store all my photos and videos without having to copy it to my pc every 6 months.

EDIT:

VODAFONE SITE SAYS THE FOLLOWING:

"The first wave of stock of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will ship on 11 March. Delivery can take from 1 – 3 days depending on where you live in NZ.
Once we send your new phone, you will receive a track and trace email with details of your order."

So, who is ordering from where?

I am going to order from the Samsung kooks. From what I read on their FB page they are doing pre-orders from this Wednesday, which is really odd considering that is only 2 days away from launch!

Although, if Samsung doesn't offer any sweeteners with an S7, I may just head to PB and grab one with a free 128GB card.

I wonder if samsung will be doing any preorder freebies.. hopefully Gear VR ?

Ok, colour choice made. No more flip flops. Final decision. Lock it in. Silver. Pre-ordered.

So is PBTech the only place currently offering the S7/S7 Edge as an outright purchase as opposed to on-account monthly payments?

I'm in no hurry. Might as well just wait until other options open up.

They are listed at mightyape with outright price $1199 (S7) or $1399 (S7 Edge) with 128GB microSD card - shipping date is listed as 10 March (so that you should receive it 11 March)

Also listed with outright price on harveynorman $1199 (S7) or $1399 (S7 Edge) with no mention of any freebies, but due to limited stock you will be placed in a queue, but you can secure one if you sign up to a selected plan in store
