I thought it's time to start a new thread since the reveal is only few days away...although with all the photo & specs leaks, there aren't that much we don't know about the device already.

Anyone looking forward to it?

Wow the specs are awesome. If that camera lives up to the features it could best the S7

Yeap - that is exactly my thought. If the camera lives up to the expectation, it'll definitely be the winner. Somehow, I doubt it is better than the S7.

Looks like a solid device. I like the idea of being able to have the icons on your home screen not in a grid, although its a small thing, its cool.

Can somebody tell me the difference between the M10 + 6P? I'm probably not going to upgrade, my 6P does everything I want. Is there some new must have feature?

Thanks.

I am glad HTC has retained its design language, continuing with metal unibody and that unmistakable antenna rubber lines across the top and bottom of the back.

Hardware specs are on par with other 2016 flagships.

I personally already have the S7e because of the larger 5.5" screen size, 5.2" is too small for me.

Reactions and previews on various tech blogs have generally been cautiously positive, lets hope it translates into good sales figures for HTC and turn their fortunes around.

Haha... It sounds like you want it @Finch, and you SHOULD go ahead with it. It will definitely be miles better than a 6P!tongue-out

OIS on front and back camera. MicroSD Slot

I see they've also done away with duplicate apps. So rather than being loaded with HTC apps they just default to google for things like gallery, browser, calculator and email etc. Pretty awesome.

IP53. Bit of a shame that is not water or dust proof. There seems to always be something that stops their flagship being perfect.
Seems no one is interested in ir receivers/blasters any more either.
Quite nice styling still and it will be interesting to see some real world reviews of Sense 8.

I have been an HTC fan for a long time but not sure if there's enough to draw me away from my S6. Time will tell.

Fair points. However being Water + Dust proof isn't high up on my wants list, it seems like it is yours though. I never really go swimming, nor do I ever take my phone out during rain so for me personally, I can live without it.

I've managed the last 15 years of owning a phone without having it water proof, don't know why I would NEED it now.

For what it's worth DxOMark have given the camera the same score as the S7's.

In terms of websites to trust they are WAY down the list.

Yes, I just checked back to the thread Mauricio started when this handset was rumoured back in January and was called the One M10. I did indeed include waterproofing on my wishlist. It is obviously achievable, and we are talking about flagships here.
Would it make me not buy the 10? Probably not (never owned a waterproof phone) but it is definitely an attractive feature.
I have always liked using Sense and the iteration used here lightly over Marshmallow appears a winner (from the brief video reviews I have seen).
I want this phone to be a winner, like the M7 was. If for no other reason than to see the survival of HTC as a phone manufacturer.

Looks pretty comparable to the S7 and certainly an appreciable upgrade to their last two flagships.

Compared to the S7, it's lacking waterproofing and wireless charging. It's also non AMOL.

On the positive, it's got a slightly larger screen and type C USB.

And you've got to wonder, HTC's also in a pretty perilous financial position, so will they still be around in 12 months time to provide updates?

OK, a couple more positives for the 10 over the S7, better speakers and support for hi res audio.
