It's a pity they didn't sell in NZ. The build quality looked great. It has a superb DAC. I would have considered it over my S7 had it been available.

Yes I've heard something along those lines.
I'm not buying the HTC 10 because of concerns about quality, they just don't want to sell to nz.
Quite happy to buy a Nexus, I assume that they will be for sale here.

What are the quality concerns? All the HTC 10 reviews I have seen/read - and there have been quite of few of these - have praised its build quality.
There seem to be a few online stores offering the HTC 10, and as my previous few phones have been HTC I'd like to upgrade my M8 to the 10.
Are there any trustworthy online stores people would/would not recommend purchasing from? (not sure if I'm allowed to list them here). Most of the HTC 10's listed seem to be unlocked for all the NZ bands and I can't see much of a problem purchasing one. Although I noticed a reviewer that said their handset was in Chinese when they first turned it on which required a bit of work on google to switch it to English.
Thanks in advance for any help :)

Not to try and put you off what appears to be a great phone, but the very soon to be announced Nexus will be HTC made, though will not be running HTC sense.

Cheers, will wait for the Nexus announcement to see if that's a decent option
