Yea i mean no offence ;)
Yes of course as pointed out the point of diminished returns is true, but as my previous point it all depends.
Id say 6gb comes close to that limit, but as you say it may not be huge, more minor.

Sorry, my response was a little prickly when I re-read it. I apologise.

They will no doubt test the living snot out of this thing to see if it makes a difference, but I'll bet $10 paid to a charity of your choosing, that the results are so minimal as to not be relevant or have a detrimental effect in some other way.

Actually i looked at mine and thought the same, can be easy sometimes to feel arrogant. I was when i was younger.

But yea your bet would have good odds.
IMO it would only show a impact when more apps are used simultanously.

Heres a example where memory would have an effect.

https://youtu.be/233f0ewFWGk

Now the memory is the same in both variants but the memory management is more poor in the snapdragon variant and almost simulates a phone with less memory.

The first lap displays how a faster processor reduces app loading times like here in the exynos variant. The second lap displays the ram managements effects where keeping a app in background can allow a faster return to a app.
A phone with less memory is forced to commit to these conditions (like this snapdragon) and a phone with more memory acts more like the exynos.
Now 4gb appears to be just enough to run a good deal of apps, so 6gb could be so minimal, nearly unnoticeable. But it would allow that headroom to reduce the mathematic possibility.

DANOFDANGER: My order has been marked, preparing for dispatch!. Camera, Action.

Awesome. My order is apparently made, but because it's retail they have no idea how many, what colour or when stock will arrive in store.

There is a small chance therefore, that I may miss out on a phone! If that happens I will be very unhappy, but here's hoping.

One of the retail store managers I spoke to told me they hadn't had a single pre-order, and that every single bit of feedback had been about how terrible the price was and how people weren't going to consider

paying that price.

Fingers crossed.

Cross ya fingers buddy.
I feel like a crack addict waiting for his fix sometimes haha. I'm keeping it cool though.

The price is not the best for new zealand i know, may not be samsung nz fault. Buying overseas is more expensive for us than others. Not just because of currency conversion but shipping and demand makes it harder.

Note 7 is doing far better than anticipated for the rest of the world, so they will be healthy enough to provide plenty of new inovative products in the future to come.

Same here, but I am South Island and they have used inter-island economy which is a 2-3 day service.

What I can't see is if the shipment includes the VR headset. Will be unimpressed if not.

1eStar: I'm warming to the design after reading a few glowing reviews. However I'll be after the dual sim version N930FD which is available (currently preorder) at expert infotech.

I think I'll need to start saving and wait till the two month price drop kicks in.

Supero have the dual sim version for $1500.

I ordered through Vodafone. I got an initial email and then nothing else until Tuesday night when I got one saying that my order had been processed and saying that another one would be sent telling me when it had been picked up by the courier. Now on my Vodafone account page it says that they are packaging it up for delivery and will send me an email once it has been picked up. I don't expect that will happen today though.

Wish Vodafone would do that too. Can't see why it can't be delivered on the day.
