I'm hoping for an S4 custom ROM before too long, Resurrection Remix is often quite up to date.

I was actually discussing this yesterday with somebody. From what I can tell the S4 only has OpenGL ES3.0 support and not the 3.1 required for Nougat. This means it won't work, and is the very same reason the Xperia Z3 won't get Nougat despite being the official Sony test phone fort Android N beta. It seems Google at the last minute made 3.1 the minimum requirement removing a lot of ~2 year old phones from ever getting the update.

I am starting to wonder if the rollout has been put on hold as my wife's N5x still hasn't got the update. I haven't enrolled her in the Beta.

I enrolled my N6 in the beta after the release hoping for a quick update on that as well but that hasn't happened yet either.

Mind you the beta (NPD90G) on the N6 appears very stable, couple of minor issues where multiple touches are needed but no crashing or major slow downs.

My son signed up for the beta on his 5X just to get the Nougat upgrades and he got it immediately. I'm still waiting on my Nexus 6.

I have a Nexus 6 which is enrolled in the Beta program. I have not seen an y sign that I have received the full Nougat I still get the you are in beta afetr a reboot which is a pain as you have to sit there and wait for the beta notice otherwise the phone does not finish booting. It just sits at the notice. Can one opt out of the neta at this point or will it force a rebuild. Do I have to wait for a new version to download or something before I can get full version 7

If you un-enroll from the beta Google will send the "latest stable public release" to your phone which will be Marshmellow, you can ignore this off course and stay on the beta but if you are staying on the beta why bother un-enrolling.

I don't find waiting for the beta notice to display and then pressing a button to continue is a drag but thenI don't boat the phone very often at all, maybe once a week. It is very stable.

Nexus 6P updated this morning, just over a 1GB update. Seems to be working fine, apart from a few cosmetic differences it seems pretty similar to Marshmellow.....will see if the battery life improves after a few cycles.

Finally released for the N6. Saw that the images were now available on Google's site but no push to my phone so just signed up for the beta and within a few seconds of completing signup got the notification to download it.

Painless installation and I am liking Nougat. The split screen could be useful especially on such a large screen as the N6 - not so sure on a smaller device though.
