The above is a link to a free mp3 downloader I have on my Windows Phone, which works really well. As you may know I'll be moving to Android shortly (just waiting on my case etc to arrive). Is there a similar app I can get for Android that anyone can recommend? I looked at Google Play but having to pay an ongoing fee every month when I may or not download some music doesn't appeal. Even some subscription where I could pay per song would be okay.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks smile

Stop being cheap :P

You have services like pandora, play music, spotify that give you free streaming (with ads) or offline playback if you pay a fee.  You can also load music/mp3's that you already own onto the phone manually .

Good discussion of apps that'll do this here.

PS: Sorry I forgot to get preachy.
