Since OPPO has launched a few products on the market, I start this thread so we can all discuss any problem/issue when using OPPO phones

I was having a look at a phone at JB Hifi, appears it only runs Android v5?

never had an oppo before, the software seems ok, but who knows. That's why I started this thread, just in case I have some issue with the phone

GF got an R9s. Can confirm it comes with 6.0. Overall it has a very similar UI to Huawei's UI which is to say they're both attempting to steal ex iPhone users.

I'm not a previous iPhone user, but I do wish the UI has some sort of app drawer. I just don't like all the apps floating on the screen

This is the primary reason why the very first thing I did when purchasing a similar phone without an app draw (Huawei) was to install an alternative launcher (I use Nova Launcher and love it).

I understand Huawei have seen the light and now provide for the option of an app draw with the latest version of their OS, so perhaps Oppo may follow suit at some point...

Nova Launcher +1, this was my first paid app. App drawers are better to organise apps. who knows what they are thinking

Nova Launcher Prime was the first app I paid for - has been the best investment I've ever made when it comes to mobile software.

Also good to hear that Huawei are bringing back the drawer in EMUI 5.0.

Oppo's UI is just ever so slightly cleaner with much better 'stock' icons. For the R9s, I'd suggest getting a 3rd party camera app. The baked in one offers almost 0-none stabilization.
