My phone has just updated to marshmallow, and now I am stuck with swiping to unlock, and then doing my slide lock code. I have done abit of research eith no correct fixes so far. Has anyone had any success with removing the first slide to unlock?

Might pay to mention what type of handset you use as it's obviously something specific to that rather than Marshmallow as such.

I believe it is marshmallow that is the cause, but handset is a Samsung galaxy j5

Does it have the peel remote software on it for an IR blaster? That added an additional annoying lock screen reminding me that my phone was on silent with a recent update to the app. Cant totally remove it coz it came on the phone, just disabled it. Also started massive spam notifications with that update.
