I'm not participating in this but they way I read the Samsung release is it's only applicable to samsung.com preorders

2 Degrees just confirmed on the phone that they are still shipping on the 22nd. So knowing my luck, I'll miss the courier and It'll be Monday.

FWIW - I've just had notification from Spark that my device has been dispatched and will arrive in "3-5 working days" so presumably it's coming direct from an international distribution center. The tracking number suggests it's coming from India. If that's the case then I suspect customs might be the delaying factor, maybe I just have bad luck but they seem to like sitting on anything I get shipped for 2-3 days.

That said, 3 days put's it at a Friday 22nd delivery so I might be lucky, otherwise it'll be a Monday job.

Spark gets it's stock from the same place as all NZ retailers, and that is based in NZ.

I also got that when the s8 shipped, was there the next day for release.  This almost seems that spark is going for the 20th.

I'm hoping this whole airport fuel crisis that's going on doesn't disrupt our notes..

I think the stock is already here, most stores already have units on display etc.  Samsung seems to be good at getting things ready and getting pre-orders to retailers

Huh, well in that case the label type is listed as "Overnight" looks like it should be here by Friday as intended so should have it for the weekend, nice. :)

I hope for all our sakes that we 'll all get our Notes on or before the weekend!

I'd really hate to be a retailer dealing with lots of angry preorder customers! Ha
