Well, I succumbed to the desire for new Tech. Essentially my third flagship phone this *year*. I am dying a little inside right now, but I fully expect that there is nothing else I want to buy more for 12 months.

I went with Orchid Grey from HN and hopefully, I'll get a bit for selling the extras.

Yeah, it's going to be a long 3 weeks. I am worried with it being a less popular colour, there will be a delay.

I am happy with black, but I like different colours. Was tempted to go gold, I like Samsung Gold.

Yeah, I've collapsed and given in at this point too.

I was humming and harring, but I need to send my Nexus 6P in for battery repairs, so I figured instead of backing up all my crap off the 6P, and formatting it, and then getting it back and putting it all back on, I'd rather just get the Note 8, move everything across, send off the 6P for repairs and then sell it.

So... Anyone keen to buy a 128GB Graphite 6P sometime towards the end of September? :D

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

Here's a good youtube that shows the Note 8 side by side with the V30

That Orchid Grey is so super gorgeous! I think the Note 8 beats the V30. LGs UI always looks childish to me. I'm not ashamed to say.. Note line fangirl over here

How does it do with full res though, are there any vids of that. I suppose if it compares to s8+ then should just look at how that performs.

Apples closed approach prevents me from buying an Apple Phone. I do have an iPad for the kids schooling, and an iPod for music (works nicely with my car).

Apple will likely never get money from me for a new phone.

Maybe price, but then you got to worry about network frequency, warranty etc.
