Haven't got ANZ but installed the app and can open it fine. MS Outlook works fine. Hope that helps.

I have ANZ and it appears to work just fine.

the main thing is the app crashes. For me on my 2XL (which is going back to DS on Monday for the speaker)...

- Facebook crashes intermittently

- snapchat crashes on launch

There are also a few other apps which are buggy, as expected.

I'm going to leave the beta and wipe my phone as part of sending it away for repair / replacement. When it arrives back I won't reinstall it until DP3, or maybe the first RC.

It's fine and the visual overhaul is neat, but the app compatibility isn't fantastic so I will stick to 8.1 for the moment.

meanwhile, next few weeks i'll be rocking my 6P, which will be a bit sad to downgrade to!

To fix Snapchat uninstall it and reinstall it

Haven't had any crashes with Facebook yet

My main issue with Android P is that third-party launcher apps aren't updated for the new gesture navigation (but that's a given and will be fixed easily in time). Also that the new gesture navigation still has onscreen buttons, would have prefered if it was all gestures so there's no need for the soft bezel anymore.

Hi all,

Time for the final chapter of 'My Pixel's Top Speaker is Faulty'

So after 3-4 weeks over in Melbourne, complete with the repairers filling in the forms wrong so it was held by DHL until they filled out the right Li-io battery forms, I got my phone back a couple of weeks ago.

Long story short, it is not fixed. At anything over 50% volume it crackles and is generally no good. The repair sheet cites "bad reception" off the list of standard tick-box options as the problem, with the solution being "part replaced". So, who knows what they actually did, probably replace the antenna because they thought it was crackling on calls??

I've told them it's not fixed and they offered to try again, claiming they have a full suite of technicians available. That is twaddle, they are using Marks Electronics in Melbourne.

Anywho, I am pleased enough to have my otherwise stellar Pixel back....

The jump from a 6P is significant, the software experience is SO MUCH BETTER, and even holding it is so much more comfortable.

So, buyer beware when purchasing from Dick Smiths I suppose.
