Has anyone managed to do this? I can get my Plantronics Voyager to work fine with Google Assistant.

However, since Samsung have gone to all the trouble of creating Bixby, it seems to make sense to try using that instead. I cannot for the life of me get Bixby to answer spoken commands through the headset (such as 'dial Fred's cellphone') and just wondered if anyone else had managed it?

Go to Settings --> Apps, find "Google", select "Clear Defaults".  Press your bluetooth "Voice Dial" button and it should ask if you want to use Google or Bixby.

Just tried it here, works fine. Why it's not a more obvious option under "App defaults" is a mystery.
