I'm setting up an Android TV box for a mate.

If I set this up, using my Google Play account and then hand the box over to him, will he then be able to set up his Google Play account and delete mine, without any consequences?

I won't be installing any paid for apps.

Because he's away from a few days and I want to have the box ready for him to use, when he's back

Doesn’t he trust you with his account? He could easily change the password for the few days and again after too?

I know, but I can't get hold of him and I'm eager to set the it up for him. I'll see what happens, when I get his login details. In the meantime, I'm using mine

Got hold of him. Got his details. Added his account. Deleted mine and it seems to work absolutely fine.
