GALAXY TAB A (2016) with S Pen

I lost the option to make calls while driving using the voice command "Call *** mobile" using OK Google. All I get is a voice saying

"Sorry, I can't make calls yet"

Spent 45min on the phone with Samsung yesterday and eventually were told it is a Google software glitch!!

Any help out there?

Welcome to Geekzone

Go to Apps in the System Settings. Check Permissions for the Google app, and make sure Calls is enabled.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Failing that, backup and factory restore.

Google does crappy stuff like this sometimes.

Wait for the next Google App update and see if it's fixed - if not then I'd try clearning all data of the Google App.

Thanks for your response....

I checked the Call settings and it is set to "enable"

Did a factory reset under the advise of Samsung and even this did not sort out the problem. Samsung said it was a Google issue!
