Is there even a midnight black 64GB oneplus 6 doesn't even look to be an option on oneplus.com can only see mirror black in 64GB

also at that price you may as well pay $73 more and get the 128GB SSD 8GB RAM version

I would assume that is a typo and its mirror black they have, going to check it out tomorrow. Do you think the 8GB is really necessary at this point in time?

6GB is adequate, definitely a big step up from the usual 4GB of cause that all depends on how your going to be using it.

If your set on a 64GB one then it will still be a great phone better than 99% of the phones on the market however nothing about this phone is user serviceable so if you do decide that you needed more space or memory in the future then you will stuck with no other option than to buy a new phone.

Got it! The 6's just arrived this evening at Techcrazy, nice staff there, can't complain. Apparently they have been around since 2010 and have a number of stores.

Wow...that's promising. Not bad getting a 6Gig version for 999. And their website says it's in stock.

Just the standard 1+ Dash Charger with the two flat prongs, same as what my 3T had.

@tripp

With dash charging, who needs wireless charging?

It's still there, just seems to be a bun fight on trademarks. See this article this article.

Just picked one up from PBTech. It came with the original dash charger (non-NZ) but they also included an Oppo VOOC NZ charger which is a nice extra.

I was looking at buying an Oppo VOOC charger from PBTech for my OP6 for the NZ connection, so this works no problem?

I'm looking at getting a 6, but at this point I have two main questions:

1. What covers or cases are people using or planning to use? I’m worried about that glass back (I am guilty of dropping my phone a bit) so will definitely put it in a case but I'd rather avoid something substantial like an OtterBox as it negates having a svelte phone. I was thinking of the original red silicone case and probably also the flip cover – would those offer enough protection from the occasional drop?

2. Do the cheap eBay tempered glass screen protectors work on the phone, or does one need to buy something decent? I was thinking the narrow side bezels may make it more difficult, especially with the phone in a case.

I’ll probably wait a month or so before buying, so hopefully more retailers (at a good price) will come on-stream (Noel Leeming?). At the moment I see Mobile Station has it for $919 including delivery, which is a pretty good price. Where are other buying the 6 from?

I purchased the Nillkin Frosted Shield Hard Back Cover Case off AliExpress for $10, prefer a minimal case so as not to ruin the already nice aesthetics of the handset. I used the same case on my OnePlus 3T and it survived a drop to the corner. I also don't use screen covers and the Gorilla Glass holds up fine, after over a years use I might have a small nick or two.

Comes with a basic case in the box.

Also a pre-applied plastic screen protector which is not so nice.
