i believe they get there updates by IMEI, so not everyone will get them at the same time

My wifes mate 9 gets her updates about 7-10 days before i get mine.

My mate 20 pro pre-ordered from PBtech, has now the green screen, has only developed in the last 2 days. I ordered it online from PB - anyone know warranty process?

take it in store with all the bits.

May pay to call ahead. Best chance at a direct replacement

Rumor has it they are patching the minimum brightness to get around the green... Messing with my brightness there is a clear point that it almost vanishes

Anyone on the newer version noticed a change to brightness?

Green screen here too. Only when very dim. I'll wait a bit for the warranty process.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

And LG panel? Given its shown up on BOE I think we can rest assured its the same problem that has happened on other curved screen phones.

How long is the warranty from Huawei if locally purchased, ie not a parralel import?

When do you actually see the green screen problem? Do you have to create a synthetic scenario to make it happen? If so, does it really matter?

What an absolute disaster from Huawei... On UK forums everyone is saying its the LG panels that show, so if BOE screens get it too maybe its worse than most think?

No i think its just the design of these edge screen types, Huawei is not the first this has happened to, happened on sammy, apple, pretty much most have had the issue at one stage. Others bleed different colours like pink etc.
