Got mine last night. Love the display after my S7E. The fingerprint scanner is a little picky sometimes (Quite a few "press harder" messages) but mostly works. Otherwise not a lot to really say. It meets all expectations.

On the Buds I'm a little torn. I've got Jabra Elite Sports at the moment and they're amazing so I've been spoiled. In comparison I'm getting really bad wireless reception on the buds. I do get some break ups on the Jabras but it's REALLY rare. Like maybe every few uses I get a bad patch for 30sec. With the buds it's constant at times from about 1.5 hours use.

I also don't find the buttons on them terribly intuitive either.

I've installed both the buds firmware and the phone firmware but will see if it gets better. I wanted to make these my everyday buds and reduce the Jabras to the gym or running since the battery is only about 2.5 hours now.

If you have ordered through Vodafone's web store, you might be in for a bit of a wait apparently.

If that's the case they've really dropped the ball on this

Very close to cancelling my order with Vodafone

After ordering over a week ago, and not receiving a confirmation of the order I called again, this time get told my order is still pending a credit check.

I have over 20 years with Vodafone and good history with them so no reason for this to be an issue.

They obviously have a problem and are hiding behind excuses.

Picked my order up from PB Penrose about 30mins ago - lots of preorders sitting on the shelves behind the counter waiting for their new owners.

I don't know what's true anymore.  I'll tell you what the person who issued me a SIM at the physical store said just a few minutes ago.  He says he can actually see the serial number of my phone on my account... meaning they have already scanned in and allocated a phone to me.

He says that should mean they physically have my phone and it is on the cusp of shipping.  He said he expects that I'll get it tomorrow.  Most people who come in with preorder problems don't have a phone allocated according to him.

He says that everyone else is "under-promising to over deliver".

I am probably going to lodge a formal complaint regardless because it's ridiculous they ported my number already and there's still no consensus when my phone will ship.

Understand why they would credit check, but aren't you usually supposed to give consent for that? At no point in the ordering process through their website was it mentioned, and they have charged my card the $49 up front deposit immediately. Would have expected a tick box agreeing to credit check if they do it.

I see from the link posted a few pages ago, that VF's deal now includes the free TV for the S10, whereas originally it was only for the S10+.

I'm waiting for VF to get back to me about signing up a new contract and I'm hoping to get the phone as part of the deal, but I haven't heard as yet. Seeing as the pre-order deal ends tomorrow, I'll have to ring them again myself.

Checked with a mate who works at Vodafone the offer was only for existing customers who got the email.

Well I am an existing customer and I'm willing to roll over my existing plan, so hopefully they can accommodate my request :D

Is it this email?

"This invoice confirms your order has been processed.
If your order contains items that need to be delivered to you, we will email you again to confirm when your order has been collected for delivery by Courier Post, along with your tracking number"

Yea

I got that one March 3rd around 5 AM - about a week after I preordered.  It's progress, but I'd still be upset in your shoes.

So just spoke to a customer sales rep at PB tech and apparently Samsung have short shipped. Now ETA of phone delivery is the 13th of March... Literally WTF. this is becoming a little pathetic now.

Did Samsung under-deliver, or did PBTech over-promise?
