restecp: Both are from the same camera.

One is just cropped in and one isn't.

The other 'camera' is just a depth sensor

Oh. Well you have to wonder why they bothered then. The S10 seems to produce pretty similar results without the depth sensor.

There's certainly a noticeable difference between hardware and software blur. I agree to most people it's not really discernable but I definitely felt I could see it.

TBH I doubt anyone is purchasing a plus because of that additional sensor. If anything it for the increased battery/screen size.

Yea, the only reason I went with a plus is the battery size. The additional sensor, I think its more of a gimmick.. Unless there is a side by side comparison I havent seen or ignored.

Yes and it would probably have looked better with the single hole rather than the double, which it seems really achieves very little. As I have observed before, it would look even better with no hole at all....

EDIT: Since all of the cameras are pretty rubbish - on all phones - a non-camera phone could be a point of difference!

Hi guys,

Has anyone received their Galaxy buds from Noel Leeming in-store pre-order?

I have just picked up the Google Home Hub and the store told me the buds did not arrive with the phones and is affecting all NL pre-order customers, although I am not sure if he meant just their store (Westfield Manukau) or ALL NL stores.

Set up finger print scanning last night and its working great. Only set up my thumb with no additional fingers scanned etc. Followed a video last night about using the thumb on angle and avoiding the tip of the thumb when scanning but using the meaty pad of the thumb.

Screen on. Only one fail since last night otherwise excellent.

Screen off .very good .I've memorized the location so I can pretty much hit the target every time.

10+ with the factory screen protector still on.

I went into my store and they just gave me a pair from the stock they had which is apparently different to the stock coming in to cover pre-orders. I'm not sure they are supposed to be doing that but if you get someone nice enough maybe they will do the same for you?

the S10 might be the fastest cell phone ive used, i mean just switching between apps and menus ... i think they hit the sweet spot with the amount of ram it has.

BTW, grabbing an ultraslim pouch from these guys https://www.senacases.com/collections/cases?constraint=galaxy

they have the s10+, S10 coming, and a 20% off sale on atm

I confess I might have to come home to a Galaxy not very far away, my last one was the S4 and I think it took 6 generations to right itself.

I don't have a s10 but in my note 9 and wife's s9 we are both rocking the Samsung protective case. It's a little thick but broken screens suck and it has the kickstand which i use all the time to watch Netflix and you tube on the phone. The other case which is worth considering is spigen. There are many model but the tough armor is about as protective as the Samsung protective case but it's thinner. No kickstand of course but other spigen cases so have one.
