I don’t recall seeing this before but if you use the code NOTE10BONUS through Noel Leeming you also receive a pair of JBL headphones worth $349. Seems like you also receive the other pre order bonuses.

Noel Leeming seem to have clearly had the best pre order deal this year. Come on PB Tech. Sharpen up your deal!

So I msg pb tech and Samsung(us) they told me that the note10+ plus being released does not support 5g but Vodafone told me that all note10/+ will be 5g capable no matter where I buy it from in nz, in time for the 5g December role out.

Can the guys that have received their phones tell me the model numbers they got and check if there's 5g setting/options on the menus?

PS IF YOU'RE A STUDENT YOU CAN GET THE SPECIAL STUDENT DEAL VIA SAMSUNG PORTAL around 1400 FOR 10+ AND AROUND 1200 FOR 10

Ok turns out the ones coming out right now are not 5g compatible, I guess the Vodafone NZ guy must be misinformed. They've updated it to say not 5g compatible

So, can someone who has their hands on it now, confirm they are in fact defaulting the Note 10+ to 1080P Resolution, instead of QHD? A review I just watched shwoed it out of the box as 1080p!

Had to change to QHD manually. I can only imagine what this does to the battery.

Mind you don't get the free upgraded memory to 512gb but rather 256gb, 512gb is overkill imo

I'm good with my current 128Gb iPhone, so 256Gb is plenty for the next 2-3 years.

Idk why they do that I guess it's just a marketing tactic to make the phone even better for non techy people or people who do not know

I'm tempted to get this but not 5g compatible, 5gs getting rolled out in December, so Im just gonna wait a few more months for the 5g devices that's gonna be announced, my s8+ still doing fine rn

Why do you need 5g on your smartphone?

Same reason people upgrade their phones, also 5g is the future so why not get a phone that supports it, not planning to get a new phone every year so why not

I think the note 9 was also set by default to 1080P out of the box. But most people probably wouldn't notice much difference in the picture quality by increasing it. Some things are a bit sharper, but hardly noticeable. Probably why the note 10 uses a 1080P screen, which is a big downgrade on the note 9 screen.
