What phone did you come from? I have the S10+ at the moment, but man I miss my s-pen and I love the massive screen of the Note 10+

I've had a few over the last 18 months or so. On the Android side: Galaxy S9+, OnePlus 6T, Note 9, and now Note 10+. Also iPhone XS Max, but now using XR on the iOS side.

I am not convinced by the inscreen fingerprint reader.

I thought that too but after using it I find it fine. Especially in conjunction with face recognition when I'm not holding it in a useful fingerprint way.

Mostly I'm finding getting used to the left button tricky coming from a right button on most of my other devices. But it's a minor muscle memory transition.

I just ordered one through VF, Black.

GOt a $4500 handset fund on the new business account, might as well put it to use.

It's epic.  DeX as an app is surprisingly useful when used at my multi-monitor setup at work.  Currently got 4 apps open side by side on the DeX display and not a whiff of lag like there was on my Note 9 when I had more than 2 apps open.

Next time I travel for work I'll use it as my main driver so I don't have to take my other devices with me.

The night mode on the camera is excellent, as is having the wide angle lens.

In-display fingerprint reader is super quick, as is facial recognition.

Being able to disable Bixby from the side button is about bloody time.

The S Pen also feels a LOT nicer than the Note 9, especially the tip on the display.  The 9 Pen felt a little like there was some friction on the display.  This one glides across it smoothly.

Haven't tried many other features yet as spent most of the time setting up the launcher and apps last night.

I must admit that Dex on Windows is a feature i would like on my note 9. I think note 9 will eventually get all the same updates anyway.

Here it is in my workflow in the office today.  Dex on the left monitor was so useful.

Was also just wondering as well - does the NZ version come with the clear case in box?

Wow got into chat on the Samsung Website. That is some seriously pushy sales people.

Them: You're welcome. Would you like to preorder the new Galaxy Note10+ now? You may add the smartphone to your shopping cart. Let me guide you.
Me: Thanks, I dont want to wait for shipping is my only issue unfortunately.
Them:I hope you reconsider. You can enjoy your new Note10+ within 2-3 business days.

Me: Thanks, I'll give it some thought.
Them : I already know you’ve thought about this before. You really want the new Note10+ since it’s exactly what you need. I can help you by answering your questions.

Sounds like a bot.

The person I was chatting to yesterday about the Samsung account login issue made some interesting statements too.  After half an hour of explaining the problem she said she'd escalate to high level support and then "you can consider your issue resolved".  Can I?  It's not.....I don't think I'll consider it's resolved until it's.....resolved.....

Too many devices for me man, it reduces productivity for me. What can Dex give you that your windows machine at work doesnt? I just have my dual work monitors and then my personal surface to the left and Note sitting on the desk :D

I really like the idea of Dex, but it frustrates me that the office apps are the gimped version. If we could have access to the full excel, outlook and word products that would be a game changer.

It's the gimped version of chrome that put me off. Also the fact that Netflix does not run full res. Samsung internet does a way better job than chrome mobile. The whole reason i changed from 10 inch Android tablet to surface go was to get a real web browser with add blockers that renders real desktop web pages by default. I am using edge Dev (chromium version) on all my windows devices and loving it. Who wild have imagined 10 years ago that Google wild be more evil than Microsoft.

Dex in Windows is useful beanie your can send texts and grab files if your phone without going through the cloud. It's basically Samsung version of airdrop.
