Hi

I am wanting to purchase a tablet with a sim card.

I looked at the ones in the shops but not prepared to pay 500-600 dollars, when I only need it for display.

There are some tablets on Wish.com some will take a sim card but not sure if a two degrees sim would work with it.

Has anyone purchased a tablet with sim card functionality from wish.com

Is there a particular brand I should stick to. I will get one that has an android operating system

Thanks

Ford

Wish is the same as Alibaba I think

If the tablet supports this (almost all should) it will work

2degrees operates a 3G (UMTS 900MHz and 2100MHz) and 4G (LTE 700MHz, 900 MHz and 1800 MHz) network. So your phone works with one of these technologies, you're good to go.

Check to see that your getting a recent version of Android

Please for the love of all that is holy don't buy electronics or anything you wish to last from wish.

If anything get it on Trademe from a local seller, so if something goes wrong you have more ability to do something about it.

I bought a Lenovo 7", sim compatable from G...best.
I couldnt get that model in NZ . Its higher spec than Lenovo Tabs officially sold in NZ
Im very happy with it, I havnt tried the sim , but I could if you wanted

If buying from overseas, pay with paypall. That at least gives another option for refunds, as Ch sellers will give you the run around
on warranty claims . Even with paypal, you may have to ship the thing back to Ch for a Warranty claim .

So if buying overseas, dont pay more than you are willing to loose. 2 friends bought Tablets from Ch, they all failed (4 of them) within 6 months.
Also, be wary of faked brands, and sellers that dont actually have stock but take your money then give fake tracking info (I've had that happen)

Ok thanks

I'll have a look around.

The last tablet I got was one from the warehouse, for $200.

Its still going. Samsung I think.

They don't have them anymore.

I will try a local reseller or trademe.

Thanks

There are plenty on Amazon, which is better to deal with than the Chinese places.

This for example:
