XinfinityoO: Do you think pbtech will refund the oneplus, unopened, so i can get the oppo ? Btw i have read oppo doesn't have a good update track ??

Which version do you have?

Happy to buy it off you if it's unopened.

I would definitely go with the Oppo if the global version had dual Sim!! Not sure why they all keep doing this single sim versions....Huawel P30 Pro now Oppo X2Pro.

UPDATE

Just received it!! And it's a beauty :)

I can confirm it comes with the Warp charger with a UK plug, plus the AUSNZ Oppo charger which PBtech have thrown in.

Surprised NZ Post do deliveries on Queen's birthday! Can't wait for mine here! Does the box include a clear case as well? I ordered an OP8 and the description said in includes a clear case

Got my OP8 Pro this morning. Really liking it so far the screen is amazing, the dotch is far better than the notch on the OP6 and really happy to have the fingerprint sensor on the front again.

Had a few issues with OnePlus switch not bringing over all my applications(3 where missing that I noticed) but for the most part everything was transferred over correctly but still a lot of apps need to be re-setup due to passwords being locked to the device.

Also not sure if its a OnePlus issue or some setting i'm missing but the haptic feedback on swiftkey is so week it barely even registers to me unlike on my OP6 where I had no issues feeling the feedback.

Website shows the 8 Pro 12+256 Green has been out of stock since Fri/Sat ....But, I have been lucky!! Picked up one last unit in store yesterday that was not even showing on website. Didn't even need to wait for NZ Post.

Beautiful colour and fantastic screen....couldn't be happier with the phone so far, except maybe the price is a bit too high. I have to add though the Oppo Find X2 Pro is much better value....it is more expensive than the 1+8 Pro in China (Oneplus = 5999cny or $1345NZD VS OPPO = 6999cny or $1565NZD) but is much cheaper in NZ ($1500 with the 2degrees offer plus bonus UE Boom and headphone ).

Oneplus users pay basically $400 more for a similar phone or say a phone of similar calibre compared to the Oppo. If only I didn't need dual SIM...

Mines 1.5.6 and widevine is still showing as L1.

OnePlus had issues with not putting the keys for it on the op5 and did offer to enable it if you sent it in.

In order for Google to allow level 1 it needs to be saved to the device securely which could not be done via a OTA.

Yea typing on the phone and missed the 0 and missed my proof reading. 10.5.8 is but the updates are rolling so chances are I have not been slotted for it and have not gone down the oxygen updater path.

The news article states 10.5.5 or newer and yea no issues with widevine downgrading.

You don't get a separate protector but there is factory one already applied on the phone out of box.
