Oh nice. That's a good outcome for you! 👍
Excepting I dont know how its going to work.
I was paying it off over 2 yrs interest free payments. 11 months to go. with 2 degrees. Ill go back to them. But they will say I still have to finish the contract. !!
I still havnt seen the details yet though. Looking like there may be a little snag in the calculations so to speak.

Took 2degrees 5G for a spin today around Kingsland, Auckland CBD and parts of Eastern Bays. Am impressed with the extent of coverage -- more extensive than Spark although not anywhere close to Vodafone. I think it is still impressive given the constraints 2degrees has compared to Spark.
One thing I noticed though is that while connected to 2degrees 5G I find that the data connection on my S21 occasionally stops suddenly. The status bar will show an active 5G connection but with no downlink data transmissions (with the occasional uplink transmissions which I understand currently goes over 4G so may have been successful however with no downlink response able to be made).
It happened to me about three times and both times toggling the airplane mode would sort it out. Often when it went back online it would fall back directly to 4G and stay on 4G for some time before going back up to 5G.
The fourth time it happened I was actually traveling out of a 5G area so I thought I would see what happens when the phone is eventually forced to fall back to 4G due to lack of 5G coverage. Lo and behold as soon as it dropped back to 4G data transmissions in both direction came back to life.
Posting here to see if other have had this experience too.
I am off to Australia next week though so will definitely pop in some local SIMs to test out 5G over there for research purposes!
Finally heard back from Samsung NZ.
They are giving me a voucher that will practically get me a new Samsung S22 Ultra (slight top up) so i am more than happy with that

Interesting camera updates/improvements. Update found on my 'base' S21 on Spark.
The updates are coming out quicker all the time
Update is now released for the 2d purchased S21+ 874.25MB
Update received for 2degrees purchased S21. I suspect there is no difference at all according to network etc -- more likely than not they come out for all NZ purchased devices at the same time regardless of retailer/network/etc.
Also Spark extended 5G to Manukau recently so have been using their 5G for some time now. Seems to work well on the S21.

mentalinc: Vodafone patch size was 869.23MB, there is something different between them for sure. But they might release all nz at the same time.
