iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

I was hoping one of you guys could possibly do it on here since I'd rather not argue/explain something over the phone lol
And it'd be a lot quicker...
For best practice security reasons we have separation of duties, which means amongst other things that architects like myself don't have access to production systems. They trust me to design 'em, not to fly 'em.

Heya,
Care should be able to sort this one out from our end. If you could send me all the details in a DM I'll do my best to put you in touch with someone who can help sort this out.
Cheers,
Sarah

Hm. After a few back-and-forth emails with care telling me to remove the sim, disable roaming, turn on flight mode etc, I got this after I explained that I had been told that 2degrees can disable roaming from their end:
It seems as though even with the "R" above his signal indicator, his phone is still preferring to use wifi calling.
So, I'll just leave this whole thread and he'll continue to use wifi calling with roaming on(?)
Maybe this will help someone in the future?
kiwifidget:
My brother in the UK says I should get an ee sim and then he can share data with me.
EE must be his carrier.
If I got an ee sim, can I use that for data and leave the 2d sim for calls and texts?
Phone is dual sim.
Hi there, apologies I am slightly incorrect.
Do not use another sim overseas.
Keep your phone in airplane mode, and use WiFi calling.
That way you prevent roaming from happening.
stick: Update: Uhh I guess TheMightyKiwipeso wasn't right :(
My dad inserted another SIM into his phone and now an R appears above his signal thingy and has now recieved a text from 2Degrees saying welcome to aussie etc. He hasn't been charged $8 as he only had $.20c in his account anyway 🙃
I did try calling 2degees a week ago asking them to disable roaming from their end as @cokemaster suggested but the person on the other end of the phone just told me to disable roaming in the settings which is useless now...
Why hasn't Samsung made two separate options for both of the sims' roaming options?? Disabling roaming doesn't do anything now...
@SaltyNZ @SarahRykers maybe you guys could help? Does 2Degrees disable roaming like One NZ and Spark?
Thanks!
When you use a second local sim, you trigger roaming.
Not sure if this is Samsung being slightly less than reliable with software, never had this issue with Oppo, Sony, or Moto.
