After a read through on this forum I can’t find anything that helps so far..

I am having issues sending and receiving MMS messages on my HTC Hero (on Vodafone). Normal browsing and emails work fine, as I have been able to set up my standard Vodafone access point. But I can’t seam to get the MMS configurations to go.

A couple of questions I have are

1. Do I need to create a ‘new’ access point for MMS settings or should I add them into the MMS data fields in the standard Vodafone APN?

2. Depending on where I need to put them, is there someone who as an Android OS phone that can run through the settings for MMS?

You need to set up a new AP for MMS as follows......

Name Vodafone MMS
MMS proxy
MMS port 8080
MMS protocol WAP 2.0
MCC 530
MNC 01
APN Type mms

Let me know if that works for you.

Got it!!! Thanks. Looks like I had used a different port (I have no idea why), on my previous settings.
