I'm kinda getting impatient, but really theres nothing that can be done about it. Hopefully some good news this week with air travel and those of us waiting will have our Desire's ASAP!

Hey if anyone is going to order a Desire from Clove I would apprecaite a pack of the screen protectors, PM me and I will pre pay for them.

EDIT:  Actually flag that request, found very cheap on Ebay.

I just ordered mine from Clove. I accidentally selected "Airsure" delivery (i.e. Royal Mail) - anyone know how reliable they are?

Also - I have a disastrous track record with cellphones, most die after 1-2 years from moisture/dust damage. What do you guys recommend for a low profile protective case for the Desire/Nexus?

I used Airsure and it's slow.  I was in the first batch of phones sent out and I only just got the customs clearance today.  Other than that they're reliable enough.

Thanks.  That'll be OK I guess (who knows how long this volcano ash thing will last anyway).  I'm making do with a cellphone with 7, 8 and 9 buttons that don't work... I should be able to wait another couple of weeks before it drives me completely bonkers

.... If anyone wants to pay a premium ($1200NZD) and get a HTC Desire fast then they could always try http://www.trademe.co.nz/Mobile-phones/Vodafone/Other/auction-284935224.htm and avoid the volcanic ash issues, no gst, no other taxes.$8 shipping or pick up from the Nrth Shore, Auckland.

Aw yeh though If you look at the Incredibles specs they are pretty much the same as the desire cept for the 8mp camera and ROM. Bigger screen to i guess. I don't like the back or so called racing car look to it haha

Incredible is only only available on one network, and not one thats compatible with networks here. At present there has been no word on it seeing a wider release (if there were I'd have waited and got that handset).

Hmmn, looking at GSMarena you appear to be right (not sure which handset I'm thinking of, perhaps the Supersonic that they are making exclusively for Sprint?).
