Yeah 3 dimensions. There is a youtube video that demonstrates, it is using an iphone but the principle is the same.

Another just showed doing a figure 8 flat on a table which didn't seem to help. Perhaps doing the motions vertically as well as horizontally has the same affect as giving it a shake.

I've just discovered a pretty sweet browser if anyone is interested called Dolphin Browser HD. Lots of useful gesture based commands, better tab support, quicker page loads (maybe comparable to Opera?) and a few handy add-ons.

Lovin' it so far! Can be found in the Market but be sure to get the HD version.

Yup - found it earlier today through a blog - so far so good. My one bug bear is how much screen it takes up, especially with the tab bar. I wonder if there are any themes which shows slimmer tab and address bars...

just a warning to any one thinking of rooting there nextG Desires.  don't.  for now anyways.

petty much the only rom which will get gps working is the offical telstra fix rom.   no rooted or custom one so far will work.

just waiting on some one to root a rom based off that telstra one..then i should be good to go.

btw found a pretty mint pouch,  you can pick these up from telecom edge stores for like $25

http://www.mobileextras.com.au/ProductDetails/tabid/65/CategoryID/166/ProductID/6647/Default.aspx

i was about to buy a $50 sena pouch... but this pretty much is the same thing.

... really like Dolphin browser and have made it my default. have tried skyfire, opera mini and the native browser... its the only one that can link with google bookmarks...and you can get more screen space by going into setting to get rid of tabs and even the notification bar...

Oops, sorry guys - I perhaps should have mentioned Dolphin (and its ability to download youtube video). For whatever reason I just kinda assumed everyone was aware of it!

Will check my installed apps again and see whether there are other things I've neglected to inform you of...
