OK, just spent 2 hours on the phone to 2dgrees. They have a technition calling tonight. I can get internet from home on my wireless but not through 2degrees at the moment. If I can get the settings I will post on here so no1 else has to do this mission.
Now I have a problem lol... Not sure if anyone else here in NZ is experiencing this problem, but here goes. It appears quite a large number of HTC users have the same problem as me around the world (the topic can be found here).
A small handful of my contact photos have never been able to sync with their respective Facebook profile pictures. The solution that's always worked for me is to remove my "Facebook for HTC Sense" account (in Settings --> Accounts & Sync) and set it up from scratch.
Unfortunately, I tried doing that last night, and since then, I have not been able to retrieve my friends list at all... :( I tried again this morning, but I'm still getting the same "Connection Error" whenever it attempts to retrieve my friends list via the "Online directories" option in the "People" application.
I Googled the problem, and it seems like a lot of people have the same problem around the world (link to the HTC support forum provided earlier in this post). A few users have contacted HTC about it, and it appears it is an "HTC Sense and Facebook" connectivity problem, and not the phone's problem (that's a relief!!).
My contacts list is looking extremely boring and bare at the moment lol haha... :(
I stopped sync'ing my contacts with FB friends because the little green bubble with the number in it which appears on the contact profile pic frustrated me too much ><
Finnaly I have sorted Internet for Desire on 2degrees. PXT Still no go.

Hope this helps. My new mission is to get e-mails from my outlook at work. I gave my phone to our it guy and he put all correct information in and still couldnt get e-mails.
