APN
mms
MMSC
http://mms.2degreesmobile.net.nz:48090
MMS Proxy
118.148.001.118
MMS Port

Thanks!
Yea I have spoken with 2degrees and they are saying my phone has issues?
I searched the web and sounds like there is a major glitch with HTC/or telco providers and MMS.
2degrees advise is to factory reset, I will try tonight and see how I go.

I have gone through every possibility and its the last resort.

Thanks though

If anyone else has a fix I would greatly appreciate, factory reset sux ;(

One other point I forgot to mention is that after entering the apn settings, you need to shut down and restart the phone before they take effect

Can you borrow a Vodafone sim and try the vodafone settings as listed bottom of page 3 in this thread to try and rule out if your phone as the problem? I havent heard of anyone having issues with Desire on Vodafone.

RevoWution: Now I have a problem lol... Not sure if anyone else here in NZ is experiencing this problem, but here goes. It appears quite a large number of HTC users have the same problem as me around the world (the topic can be found here).

A small handful of my contact photos have never been able to sync with their respective Facebook profile pictures. The solution that's always worked for me is to remove my "Facebook for HTC Sense" account (in Settings --> Accounts & Sync) and set it up from scratch.

Unfortunately, I tried doing that last night, and since then, I have not been able to retrieve my friends list at all... :( I tried again this morning, but I'm still getting the same "Connection Error" whenever it attempts to retrieve my friends list via the "Online directories" option in the "People" application.

I Googled the problem, and it seems like a lot of people have the same problem around the world (link to the HTC support forum provided earlier in this post). A few users have contacted HTC about it, and it appears it is an "HTC Sense and Facebook" connectivity problem, and not the phone's problem (that's a relief!!).

My contacts list is looking extremely boring and bare at the moment lol haha... :(

Anyone else here in NZ have this problem? :)

Ok my problem (quoted above) has been resolved :) Seems like HTC and/or Facebook have been working quietly behind the scenes to fix it.
