wow so the minute the media scanner encounters those folders, it quits scanning the rest of the phone? that sucks... i havent heard of this one before, is this a i9000 port bug only is it?

im contemplating spoofing kies to get the JB build for my SIII at the moment but even that build sounds a bit rushed, the devs are complaining that issues inthe leaked roms were still not fixed in the official release (only released for Poland at the moment, weird place to start...)

so maybe there are issues like this across the board with sammy rushing out builds (i assume) to compete with the fruitphone5 launch...

Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005, on Telecom 4G LTE.  ROM: Stock Touchwiz, Android 4.3, XUDMJ6  MODEM: MJ4  Kernel: Stock (for now...:)

Hmmm, but do you see the benches on the S3 with JB! No doubt they're pushing it out as quick as they can.

Treid JB again, SlimBean2.6 - my pictures havent shown up, but I see that the music app has picked up my mp3s on the external SD even with another folder on there with a .nomedia file.

Problem being, after mountin as a USB to a computer, music failed to open so clearing media scanner and music + a reboot fixed thast issue. However that had it's downside as ringtones and notifications all went back to the ROM original settings.

There is a slimrom for the S3 too in case you're interested!
