ChundaMars: Many thanks, I think I'm sold - now the only problem I have is that she is in Scotland where they are currently in the middle of the largest snow storm in recent memory and all deliveries and public transport is cancelled so she has no way of getting to a store to get one!?Laughing?Weird to think after the nice summery weather we're getting here.

Ha-ha yep, we're in Spain at the mo, drove north from Madrid in a snow storm -when you're going at 120 the snow just passes over like you're in a wind tunnel thing!

But to keep this to the point, cool that the defy will get froyo soon. When we were walking around using Google maps in the snow and rain I know the defy is in its element... hmm we'll see if the missus takes a shining to the san fran so I can upgrade :-)

Yeah sorry, didn't mean to thread-jack - the Defy definitely looks sweet, I actually recommended it to a mate of mine who goes through about 2 phones a year, would be perfect for him because he insists on having a smartphone but then treats them like dirt (basically because of the industry he's in, to be fair).

I was pretty keen on this too until I heard it was impossible to get rid of the Motoblur, but is that not the case? I read something about there being a boot-lock or something on it from Moto?
