You can try switching back to the android keyboard and re-enabling swype as a fix. Otherwise swype will need to be reinstalled. If he keyboard is in peck mode its usually because the licence is corrupt or missing,
When I swtitched & then re-enabled swype, I get an message : The Swype package you installed is configured for another device and will operate with limited functionality. Please contact Swype about this issue.
Wow, i had totally forgotten all the things my phone couldnt do before, ive been running CM for so long. Was using CM5.07 since about 7 months ago (2.1 - eclair) and have been on 6.0 and now 6.1 (2.2 - froyo) for the last 4 months. I cant believe i didnt have pinch to zoom before this, although i could only bear running the stock 1.6 for about a month before i got into the custom roms. Considering how easy it is to do im surprised more people hadnt done it before.
I did notice in the changelogs for 6.1 that they have included all the HTC modifications and fixes from the official update to froyo.
A couple of things I noticed, mainly compared to my Nexus One (running stock 2.2.1 too)
* There is no "news and weather" widget * There is no "Twitter" widget * There is no Wifi Hotspot (already noted) * It is still smooth despite the devices lower CPU speed * You can unlock the lock screen by pressing MENU instead of "slide to unlock" * You can setup Exchange mail (at long last!)
Hi All I take it all magic phones are now upgraded?? I was wondering how your battery times is going. My phone seems to truck thoug the battery. Overnight (8 hours) goes from full charge to 50% odd which seem an outrage. Any other comments any pointers to solutions?
I have also noted increased battery use, but then again my battery had already started to need daily sips of Karapiro, I had assumed normal battery aging.
The Bluetooth thing I also noted, re pairing quickly sorted it, much better bluetooth management by the way.
