Hey there. So just earlier, I saw that there was a firmware update for the galaxy i5503T on telecom. I was pretty excited, checked out the samsung pages, updates Kies and began the update after backing up my contacts.

So, it downloaded the update, said it was updating. Said the update was complete, then my phone rebooted and got stuck on a 'Downloading' screen.

Kies is trying to connect to the phone, but nothing's happening. It's been sitting like this for about 10-15 minutes now.

Any advice on what to do would be -highly- appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I took out the battery and restarted the phone as per another source said.. Now it's back to the original firmware without problems. How should I go about doing this update since it didn't work the first time? Cheers!

I had same problem. Go through the emergency recovery procedure in Keis and the update will complete.
