For those of you with a Galaxy Tab (like me), we should be getting Gingerbread shortly. If you're wondering what you'll get with GB here's a link - http://www.thegalaxytab.com/2010/12/12/what-will-android-2-3-gingerbread-bring-new-to-samsung-galaxy-tab/

Ok it's not Honeycomb, but it's a start!

Interesting that the article comments on Honeycomb as well. I was under the impression (or possibly delusion) that a spec requirement for a Honeycomb tablet was a dual core processor, which kind of leaves the SGT firmly behind and operating on phone roms. Unless 3.0 can be ported by some clever Mod.

There will also be a minimum screen resolution, allegedly 1,280×720. This would further rule out the Tab. It will get Android 2.4 which should bring Honeycomb features to devices will large screen real estate that don't meet the Honeycomb 3.0 requirements.

I wouldn't rule out the XDA chaps. But if you look at the Galaxy Tab Development forum there's not a lot going on. Either it's too difficult as far as ROMs go or there isn't the right calibre of devs that own a Tab. Fingers crossed.
