I have an HTC Desire on the Telecom XT network running Froyo 2.2.  It is the Australian Telstra model.  I have never been able to send pxt or MMS messages, whenever I try to send it says "unable to send generic network failure."  When I check the APN's I have three, TelecomContent, Telecomdata, and TelecomMMS.  The first two have a white circle to the right of them and the TelecomContent has the green light on in this circle.  The TelecomMMS APN does not have any circle to the right of it.  The current settings for this APN is as follows;

Name - TelecomMMS
APN - wap.telecom.co.nz
MMSC- http://Ismmsc.xtra.co.nz
MMS prosxy - 210.55.11.73
MMS port - 8080
MMS protocol - WAP 2.0
MCC - 530
MNC - 05
APN type - mms

This is really doing my head in not being able to send photos through my phone.  I'm not very computer/smartphone literate so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I set one up for a friend at work the other day... didn't put MMS protocol in.

The protocol setting gives a choice of either 1.2 or 2.0 and cannot be left blank.  The rest of the settings are as listed in the link but still won't work.
