I was told by our Telecom reseller the other day she was going to get Froyo on her Galaxy and let me know how it goes. Presumably since they are an official reseller she wasnt' going to hack the registry or install a custom ROM so perhaps an official Telecom Froyo release is in the pipeline?

Anybody know about that?

I thought Telecom wasn't doing 2.2 and was moving straight to 2.3?

Well that would be good. The problem I have with 2.1 is that I cannot manage the phone with Exchange Mobile so I can't enforce a PIN or have remote wipe capability.

Plus tethering the phone with BT seemed a bit hard to do while a wireless hotspot would be much easier for the user to handle.

Did that require a registry hack?
