I was thinking doesn't that mean you need to buy case for it which fits the extended battery as well?

I've been running this 3500mAh extended battery for the last week. It cost me the princely sum of about $13 NZD and works perfectly. I didn't want to fork out more on an extended battery until someone (momax, you hear me??) puts out an extended battery with a kick stand incorporated into the battery cover.

I previously had to top up my battery regularly to last a day, now I breeze through without any worries. I have no problems with the battery at all, surprising considering the price, and it fits well. I can't really fault it. I don't know if it really is 3500mAh, but based on usage it is at least 3000mAh. I haven't found an easy way to test it and no kernels/roms have any features yet to report on battery specs.

I flashed the XXKG5 modem last night, and it's looking noticably kinder on the battery at idle than KG6 and other previous modems did. Signal, 3G and Wi-Fi strength looks to be the same, but haven't tested GPS strength yet. Call quality/volume seems fine too.

Once the usb jib gets here, what is the procedure to get it operational? Just boot with it in or just insert it?

Shut the phone down. Insert the jig and it will automatically boot into download mode. Take the jig out, hold the power button to shut the phone off, then press the power button to turn the phone back on again.

Anyone know why go launcher ex shows up in running services but launcher pro does not?
I was thinking they are both launchers and there to serve same purpose but in a slightly different way? Just a little concerned whether it is taking much battery..

Apparently the galaxy 2 has very good bluetooth. My laptop has bluetooth as well. How do I get them to work together? How do i turn on the bluetooth in the phone, I havn't found anything at all about it so far.

Just tried out my firsts BLN enabled Kernel and am pretty happy with the performance. It's compiled by Hellcat, who if you've ever hacked a PSP should be a familiar name.

I've never used a phone with BLN and had kind of assumed I could set one LED to notify me for emails and another for texts and so on, but apparently not. It's all or nothing. All things considered that's acceptable to me.

Netspanner, you'll need to pair your phone with your PC and go from there. It's pretty straight forward.

Okay try this:

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your laptop
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone (click on the dropdown notification menu and ensure it is selected)
3. On your phone go to Settings > Wireless and network > Bluetooth settings
4. You'll see all the settings you need to configure Bluetooth

Thanks, it wasn't turned on :-)

BTW anyone else think the stock earphones are terrible? You need to screw them into your ears to get them to stick. Its a pity, i think the quality is good.

No problem!

I never use the stock earphones - I much prefer over the ear ones. Sticking the stock buds into your ears is just a bit gross...
