kiwitrc: Dlev ROM question, I have loaded Dlev, and then CWM recovery, finally to get rid of the yellow triangle, I did the last part referenced in the thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1237495) bt then I lose CWM recovery, and reloading it I am back to the yellow triangle? Am I missing something?
Couple of things I have managed to find, that may help others.
Second thing I found. I have found that using the modem from my carrier works best, faster data speeds, better connections and clearer calls. Got sick of flashing through Odin as I couldn't find a way to flash through CMW. When I looked in the modem file from my carrier(tar.MD5 file) I saw it was a modem.bin file. I replaced this modem.bin file in the Leo 2.7.1 Zip and when I flashed with the new modem file it worked perfectly, I now have the carrier modem installed at the same time and now don't need to use Odin.
A productive hour..well two by the time I restored everything through Titanium. Hope this helps someone else and of course thanks again Leo.

I didn't bother to have a look at the thread, because I think I know what you're doing and where you're going wrong. You're no doubt trying to remove the yellow triangle without the use of a jig. You flashed on a rooted kernel using Odin, so that you have CWM recovery in order to flash Dlev. You then flashed a stock kernel using Odin to remove the yellow triangle. Now you're trying to get CWM recovery back, but not the yellow triangle.
You can't use Odin to flash a CWM-capable kernel, because these kernels are unsigned, and the yellow triangle will return. Instead, you need to use an app that has the ability to flash a new kernel on the phone itself, such as the CWM app that is installed with the CF-Root kernel. These apps use a different method of flashing the kernel that bypasses the normal signature detection.
Assuming that you have the CWM app installed and are using a stock kernel (no yellow triangle), here's what you need to do:When the phone reboots, you should not see the yellow triangle, but you should be running the new kernel. You can check this by rebooting into recovery using whatever method suits you best (3 button combo, from within the CWM app, or from your rom's extended power menu).
- Download the kernel that you want to use (CF-Root, Ninphetamine, SpeedMod, RAGEmod, Siyah, Hellcat, Tegrak Lulz, etc).
- Open up the download (TAR or ZIP), and extract the zImage file from within it. If you have a ZIP file and inside that is a TAR file, check inside the TAR file.
- Copy the zImage file to your phone.
- Bring up the CWM app, scroll down and hit the Flash kernel option.
- Find the zImage file you copied to your phone and select it.
- The app will flash the kernel and reboot automatically.

swisshardy: Hi Guys
Does anyone have a usb jig for sgs2 in Wellington that i can borrow for a day or two? Want to remove the rom count on the phone. Would appreciate if any one can help? Also since i have never used the usb jig, does anyone know how to use it to remove the rom count?
On a separate note, i bought my sgs2 from expert infotech and it came it KH1 kernel which i suppose is from Europe and i installed KI3 on it but was wondering if it would be better to install a NZ kernel. Does anyone know how and from where to get a stock kernel for NZ??
Appreciate the help.

I have a jig I can get down to you if there isn't anyone close just let me know.
Not an expert but not sure kernal will make any differance, possibly the modem (firmware ) may depending on your carrier. I'm XT running KI3 modem and have had no issues but keenly watching others experiences on here.
