asmcar: I'm flashing the polish version now, downloaded via torrent link found on XDA, had the file within half hour so fast to torrent it rather than use a file sharing mirror. Flashing now, hopefully all goes well.

Look forward to your immediate thoughts and experiences!

I tried to flash it and now i'm stuck at the Samsung logo. I was on a custom ROM and flashed using Odin... not sure how to fix it yet. Will figure it out eventually i hope.

390 Megs so it may be installing quite a bit.. dont all original roms hang a while at the samsung logo before first boot?

This is a quote from XDA forums page 10, torrent file is fast, if you have a XDA account give the uploader thanks :)
Rastabolino: here are links to torrent files I created in my dropbox. Please help seed. The two files are the Trinidad and Tobago rom "TTT" and the Polish rom "XEO".

These are both original files downloaded from CheckFus.

Hope this helps...hit thx :)

Just nab a copy of Utorrent. Roms are the only reason I even keep it on the computer anymore. Every now and then you'll come across a download that has torrent links and it'll pretty much always leave the filesharing sites for dead.

I'm holding off until Vertemus and JKay can work their magic. I'm on Omega 4.0 LPH with Siyah kernel at the moment and all is working fine. I'm still going to try the LPJ Siyah kernel and new modem though. Another week or two won't kill me (yeah right, who am I kidding!). I've flashed my phone at least twice a week since early January and am looking forward to a bit of stability. Will be about due for an internal sd card wipe too, it's getting a bit messy...

It would be worth reinstalling if you want to flash it tonight, you can always uninstall again afterwards even if it is a bit of hassle.

I flashed without wipe from CheckRomHD, all of my apps are still here and settings seem to have remained the same (from what I can see).

After flashing it hung on the samsung logo for maybe a minute or 2 then moved onto the configuring your applications screen (I presume that means for ICS but not sure).

I'd say all up flashing then the reboot took less than 10 minutes, probably one of my fastest flashes actually.

First impressions:

-All of the Samsung Bloatware is back! (Obviously!),
- Scrolling seems ALOT faster i.e in settings menu, gmail etc.
- The tabbed browsing in the browser is really cool, i've been using Dolphin HD for a while but this might convince me to go back to stock browser at least for a try.
- All of my applications seem to work on ICS (So far),
- The settings menu now has a data usage monitor (may have already been there but much more graphically explained now) that you can set alerts on, it also monitors usage per application.
- Everything that i've tried so far has worked well (i.e. Camera music player etc) which is what you would expect from a final release.
- After flashing the update calling, texting, and data all worked straight away as well.

Not sure what you all want to know, if you have any questions feel free to ask, you get so used to using your phone sometimes that many of the changes may not have been apparent to me? I don't mind trying out applications or processes for anyone if they ask.

Now back to re-arranging all of my apps and sorting out this bloatware!

I really can't wait for a pure-Android ICS ROM to come out. I love stock-standard Android.

Yeah, but 10 minutes is quite a long time, much longer than i've ever had to wait before... Figure i'll try some other downloads and see how I go.

Only issue i'm having is that when I go to input text I get a notification in the notification bar saying: "Select input method", even if I have already selected it, it still comes up, i'm using swiftkeyx, and same notification pops up with swype. If I select samsung keyboard it goes away.

I would rather use swiftkey but if Samsung keyboard is the only thing that will stop the notification from popping up I guess I will use it for now..

This is a 'feature' of ICS unfortunately.

I had to check to see it was there, had forgotten about that! I'm running 192dpi on mine so don't tend to notice it as much anymore. I use Swype and pretty much ignore the notification.

Ugh that's ridiculous, why would someone possibly want to change keyboards that often. I guess it looks like I will be using the Samsung Keyboard then, unless a work around comes about.

I wonder how long it will be before the VNZ update will be available via OTA/Kies.  I'm severely tempted to just flash the XEO firmware, but I still haven't quite wrapped my head around the implications of changing the CSC...
