NZtechfreak: I've played it on my Tab, great game. Some users have it working on their SGSII's with Chainfire 3D, but I can't seem to make it startup (black screen and then dumps me back to wherever I was beforehand). Trying to work what is different between my phone and theirs (ROM version, CF3D settings etc).

yeah i tried that with chain-fire 3d after rooting . still no go ,wander where the break down is....

I hope this is of interest to someone? I managed to Export my contacts from my windows phone. Sync'ed them into Outlook. Selected all Contacts in Outlook and Forwarded all as vCard attachments to an email. Saving all vCard files from the email into a directory and onto the phone allows one to add the ones one wishes just by tapping the files and telling it to save them to the phone. Means I have to select the relevant ones I want to add instead of deleting lots of old stuff.

That would have been so much easier than exporting then and trying to import back into google again, and having to edit them all to get the right fields into the right place.

Oh well, always next time lol.

Forgot to mention also keeps the confidential stuff off gmail - skips using gmail at least until one syncs up with gmail which I suppose will become inevitable?

Expansys are terrible for putting early dates on incoming stock, and then just putting it further and further back (almost a bait n switch strategy really), I wouldn't count on their estimated arrival time.

I've got my tracking number for my MHL cable, should arrive Monday I think. Video of me playing N64oid with a Phonejoy controller on my TV sure to follow :)

You don't have to root your phone.  Some apps require access to the root of the phone, for example Titanium Backup.  If you want to use an app that requires root access, then you'll need to root the phone :)

On my SGS, using the Zagg ear buds the sound was backward (sorry, don't know how to explain).  The Zagg buds were really intended for iPhones and their audio is in reverse to most other players.

To use the Zagg buds, I purchased an adapter that allowed the audio to play as you'd expect.  I used the same buds yesterday with the adapter and the audio was all muffled like I had experienced with the SGS.  I removed the adaptor and hey presto, the sound was as I expected.

I'm not sure what changed, and maybe it's documented, and widely known.  Thought I'd mention it.  Maybe they added some converter to the SGS2.  I haven't tried using my original SGS headphones to see if they work in the SGS2.

Since I've mentioned "Zagg", I received an email about their Memorial Day (in the States) Sale.  50% of most things (a few exceptions to do with laptop stuff).  So if anyone was looking to get the Zagg Skin for your newly acquired SGS2, you might want to do that when it's discounted. Though from memory the cost of shipping makes you want to cringe (when I bought the Zaggsparq).

And now I've mentioned skins, I've ordered mine from Skinomi.  They have good reviews and it comes with a squeegie and a little pump bottle with what probably amounts to normal water with a bit of soapy stuff ;-)

Like Zagg, Skinomi offer differing levels of protection.  I have heard others say Zagg's quality has deterioated and it feels a bit like orange peel.  That was enough to make me look elsewhere.

And I accept that there are many out there that will say a protector is not needed, Gorilla glass yadda yadda yadda ;-)  Each to their own.  Just sharing information.
