I've never used CM-based roms, sorry - are you on Telecom?  If so, have you tried disabling Fast Dormancy?

On two degrees. With flux mod 2.3.6 I am draining 1 % plus per hour on deep sleep with no wake locks. Battery usage all Android os.

Was on wanamlite 12 but found screen time can use 50% plus per hour

Was thinking going to iPhone 5 but can't live without poweramp

Oh, no I'm not dying and don't need bigger heavier battery thanks. Just trying to get back to the last ROM I was happy with.

I've been using CM 10 for a while, and it's not really ready for normal use yet. There's a known memory leak caused by the display driver, and that won't be fixed until Samsung sources are available. There's also a problem where the radio layer sporadically crashes, possibly requiring you to re-enter your pin code.

It's certainly worth trying CM 9.1.0 though, as that's supposed to be quite stable. There's nothing in the base Android OS that should be chewing up battery, so if you do find battery drain then it's probably some app doing something crazy. It could also be mobile data, which I find chews through battery.

Disable FastDormancy using the GokhanMoral app. Seems to work for CM10.

Use BetterBatteryStats to work out what's causing drain otherwise.

He's on 2deg so disabling FD would actually be a bad thing.

Depends how broken FD is in CM10 at the moment.

Modem should be firmware-independant. LP7 is widely regarded as a good one though.

Could be an APN issue, have you tried resetting those? Or checking to see whether the ones in the ROM match whatever settings the 2deg site gives?
