Samsung have pre-announced their high res 300ppi PenTile panel for tablets. Before we all moan about how PenTile is an inferior tech, remember that its power draw is lower than conventional matrices and given the "retina" standard resolution, sharpness will surely be no problem. With a battery endurance benefit.

Now, colour accuracy may need to be addressed, but if it can be sorted in the SGS with judicious firmware tweaking, then can the same solution not be applied to a larger screen? I think it can, and will.

So I wonder when we'll see it in its full glory on a Galaxy Tab 10.1X?
